Day 1 at the NOC tournament

The Bees started the day a little short handed due to a couple of unexpected injuries. The guys came out motivated and ready to wrestle, winning 14 of 22 matches. 6 battling Bees are 2-0 on the day and will be wrestling in the semi-finals tomorrow at 12:30. Ryan Hornack, Zach Getto, Mike Griffith, Matt Hammer, Teddy Hammer and Joe Gigliotti have all guaranteed themselves All-Conference honors,and will be fighting for championships tomorrow. Zach Priebe and JJ Koenig both lost their first round matches and had big wins in the second round. They will both be battling for placement honors tomorrow. In Mike Griffith's second win on the day he tied Mark Balog's career win record with 131.
